Security Protocols for the Presidential Election

In preparation for the upcoming presidential election, a comprehensive security plan has been put in place across the island.

Police Spokesperson DIG Nihal Talduwa announced that around 63,000 police officers will be assigned to election duties to ensure a smooth and secure voting process.

Additionally, the Ministry of Defense has confirmed the deployment of personnel from all three branches of the armed forces to key security locations.

The Ministry emphasized its readiness to deploy more personnel as needed to maintain order and safety.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Defense assured the public that all necessary security measures are in effect to ensure a free and fair election.
